Born in 1989 in Harare, Zimbabwe, Lauren Bone was raised in a farming area within short distance of wildlife sanctuaries. Much of her childhood was spent accompanying her father and world renowned wildlife artist, Craig Bone, on photography expeditions throughout the country. It seemed a natural consequence that a home painting environment encouraged her to pursue her own career as an artist.

Lauren presently resides in the United States and exhibits her work in galleries in Florida and Nevada. Anticipating the convergence of the world's attention to the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, Lauren is currently completing a collection of Zulu portraits which will portray the ethnic beauty of her native continent.
